Catalog Committee
Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Catalog Committee are to solicit samples of catalogs, brochures, and other print media advertising from WASSA members; evaluate the submissions; and, at the annual meeting, make one or more awards for outstanding achievements in the use of these media. Standard charges as assigned on WASSA website.
Chair: The chair of the Catalog Committee will be selected from its membership and appointed by the President, after consulting with the Executive Committee.
Membership: Members of the Catalog Committee will be appointed by the President. There will be six members serving three-year terms, with the terms of two members expiring each year.

2011 WASSA Catalog Awards
The Catalog Committee will be presenting awards for catalog submissions in the following categories at the 2011 conference hosted by Portland State University in Portlan, Oregon, October 2 - 7, 2011:
- Best Cover Design
- Best Use of Photographs
- Best Layout and Style
- Best Use of Theme
- Charlie Award: For the best overall catalog
If your educational institution continues to print a summer catalog, please send it to the WASS Catalog Committee. Any entries postmarked after Friday, July 29, 2011 will not be eligible for award consideration. In your submission please include the following:

Five (5) copies of your 2011 Summer Catalog

Name, phone number, and email address of the person submitting the catalog

The number of catalogs printed in 20109 and 2011*

Methods of distributing your catalog (mailings, handouts at events, etc.)*

Note if your catalog is available on your website and how it is available*

Any comments you think might be interesting to add to share about your catalog*
* These items will only be used for inclusion in the Catalog Showcase. They will not be used for
evaluation of your catalog for awards.
